Scot Courtney has been practicing criminal law for 30 years and is Board Certified in Criminal Law. He double-majored, receiving a BA in political science and geography environmental resource management at Texas State University in 1990. He began his professional career with Robert A. Scardino, Jr. and David Cunningham in 1993 while attending Thurgood Marshall School of Law. After receiving his Juris Doctorate with honors in 1994, he partnered with Mr. Scardino, going on to appear in many complex and high-profile jury trials throughout Texas and various U.S. District Courts over the next decade. In 2004, he relocated his offices to San Marcos, Texas, and continues to practice throughout the State of Texas and Federal Courts. He has also undergone training in Advanced Mediation.
